Earlier this week, the Maryland Access to Justice Commission brought together 60 people from Maryland’s civil legal services programs to discuss raising awareness of civil legal aid around the state. The meeting was hosted by the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Voices for Civil Justice, which works in Washington to raise the profile of civil legal aid in the national media, was on hand to facilitate the planning event. HPRP executive director Antonia Fasanelli and HPRP director of communications Joe Surkiewicz attended.
